WiFCERM corporate affiliate membership is free and open to all organisations who work in, or support, the FCERM sector, who want to become recognised partners in contributing to gender equality across the FCERM sector. We’re shining a light on our corporate affiliate members, and this month we hear from Binnies:
At Binnies, we’re proud to be part of a movement that champions gender equality across the FCERM sector. Our decision to become a WiFCERM corporate affiliate reflects our commitment to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive. We believe that diverse teams drive better outcomes, not just for our people, but for the communities and environments we enhance.
We joined WiFCERM to actively support its mission, connect with like-minded organisations, and contribute to meaningful change across the industry. This year for example, we were proud to sponsor the WiFCERM networking event at the Flood and Coast Conference, themed “Rights. Equality. Empowerment in the FCERM sector.” It was a powerful opportunity to bring voices together and explore how we can build a more inclusive future in flood and coastal risk management.
We’re also proud to be a supportive and active participant in the WiFCERM mentoring programme. In 2025, two more of our colleagues are serving as mentors, continuing a legacy of Binnies staff contributing to this important initiative in previous years. Mentoring is one of the many ways we help foster growth, confidence, and opportunity for professionals across the sector.
