The very nature of being in a minority means that the opportunities to meet one another are reduced. And whilst there are a growing number of women in FCERM they are often dispersed (across organisations or geographically) and/or are in more junior roles which do not have the same access to others in different organisations.
Across the country to date we have been successful in putting on 10 regional face to face events and one virtual event with guest speakers, offering members the opportunity to meet others, network and form connections will help to reduce this challenge. Our speakers are drawn primarily from the FCERM community with a focus on sharing their experiences and advice on what has helped their careers.
But to keep these events running we need volunteers from across the country, at all levels and of all genders. For more info on what this involves please get in touch.
